Bergen Fencing Club is one of the US leading Saber fencing clubs. We have fencers of all ages and abilities, from 5-60+ and from beginner to Olympian; new members of any level – including absolute beginners on our regular Beginner classes – are very welcome. We are very proud of our successes in competitions both in the US and Internationally. Head Coach Oleg Stetsiv: Saber Coach at Princeton University, an “A”-rated fencer, 5 times NAC Veteran Champion. Oleg also works as a referee, officiating events both in the U.S. and abroad. We have a highly experienced COACHING TEAM! Fencers include Team USA members, World and National champions, NCAA college, and international athletes. Private lessons available upon request. Beginner/Intermediate Camp Fencing is said to be a game of physical chess. It is a game of strategy and focus. It is a sport that builds agility, balance and coordination, and imparts values like respect, resilience and sportsmanship. During our Beginner/Intermediate Camp, fencers have a great opportunity to start or improve their skills. This camp is open to any and all fencers regardless of skill level.
