Bergen Fencing Club is one of the leading sabre fencing clubs in the United States. Our members range in age from five years old to 60-plus and range in ability from beginner to Olympian. We are very proud of our fencers’ successes, whether they are competing at local, regional, national, or international tournaments. If you are interested in fencing, you are welcome to join us. No previous experience is necessary!

At what levels do the members compete at?
Our athletes are trained to compete at all levels: local, state, national and international by a cadre of some of the best coaches in the sport.
Does the club provide college placements?
We assist in college placement at some of the top colleges and universities in America like Harvard, Princeton, Columbia, Penn, Northwestern and St. Johns.
Do I need to become a member for scheduling a session with the coaches?
The club offers scheduling sessions for members and non-members against annual and monthly fees. You can also schedule a single class
